About The Founder:
Sael Bartolucci
Raised in Florence, Italy by a Texan mother and an Italian father, Sael's childhood was defined by her family’s international travels. Sael moved to the US in her 20s where she studied textile design in Philadelphia, eventually working with global fashion brands and private clients. Later Sael received a Master of Fine Art in Los Angeles, where she now lives and collects unique souvenirs from around the world. This special collection led her to create House of Hiatus, the essential leisure and travel line, a balance between the unique and the comfortable.
